been working on fri sat sun and coming home to check on litweek/streetdance/onlinesprees related emails.

missed the germany vs portugal match on sun morn but im really glad germany won. firstly cause i do not like portugal and secondly cause germany is such a likeable team. honestly i think they are my fave team, the way they display team spirit and love for the game. and micheal ballack! who didnt get to play in this match.

on sat night i made my dad wait over half an hour for me to fetch me home cause i left work late. he was really really mad at me. =( rahh. i cant help it really. gotta wait for the ppl from the next shift to arrive. oh and anyway i had the chance to go into the departure hall cause they have a branch there. they call it the kiosk. what a novel and exciting experience. :D i feel like im beginning to love my job all over again. teehee. i cant wait to get my non-temporary airport pass. then im entitled to tax free shopping inside plus 10% staff disc i think. (: anyway cause the kiosk has just been renovated, it's really neat and clean and tidy unlike the outlet at the arrival hall. plus the customers there are less crazy. though there can be a bit of a language barrier between me and the europeans. oh man what happened to my plans to take up a third language??

oh when mummy and daddy came to fetch me home, mum asked me,
"Do you like working there?"
and i said yes. and then she said,
"Do you like studying?"
and i said, "er...no? it's studying."
hmm..how queer and ironic. but i'll never quit sch to work there permanently. i guess pressure from the society etc really stops ppl from doing what they want/love.

ITALY IS WORLD CUP 2006 CHAMPIONS :D

cannavaro is my most fav player ever. he's so uberly good please. (: and he was so calm throughout the whole penalty shootout till they finally won. i have utmost admiration for him. heh. anyway i was really happy Italy won. I KNEW THEY WERE GOOD OKAY. cheating or not. plus, ppl need to stop being so critical. it's not like they are the only 'divers' around. the only difference was that they managed to kick in their penalties.
and the million dollar question: what was zidane thinking? honestly, italy has hardly ever won a penalty shoot out and france's chances of winning would have been much higher had zidane stayed for the pso.
and i was quite amused by his headbutting stunt really. ahah. and i gave a most animated description of how he charged at Materazzi that left agnes in disbelief. haha. i was not exaggerating okay! but he still won the golden ball award. so good for him. with cannavaro as runnerup. (:
