first of all...HAPPY NEW YEAR.

i do hope 2007 proves to be a good year despite the Alevels and all that junk. reflections on 2006...it's been a long year. a lot of things going on for me. a year of growth i think. becoming more independent. making more decisions on my own. matured in some ways. and i think i 领悟 a lot things. my first real job! learnt a lot from it. and i'll really miss it. i do hope i'll still meet up with my colleagues. (:
RJ has been a blast. with it's ups and downs. the class has been awesome. i cannot emphasize this enough.:D the ccas...well...was good exposure in a way? RP is really different from eds. though the whole homey feeling is really lacking but it showed me a whole new erm breed of people. overchievers? political people? streetdance is really different from modern dance. but it's a whole lot of fun anyway! :D so that's good. and all the streeters are really nice and approachable. my grades have been awful. and i still cant stand the one hour journey to school. but JC life has been a lot different from secondary school. a lot more busy. a lot more people to meet. yet, no regrets coming here though. (: and i feel that my friendships with so many people have become erm..stronger(cant really think of a better adjective) which is something i will really cherish from 2006. heh. i have like 20 over new year resolutions(fiona, it pays to be specific) which i don't think are too many. aggy has 50! and this year im bent on keeping to the resolutions. :D when there's a will, there's a way.

so anyway i've been too busy to blog these days.

on the 26th, boxing day, i went out with VAL and AGGY for a 4minus1 besties outing cause wj couldnt make it. =( i gave them their xmas gifts! :D (sorry wj im eating urs up) and got my birthday present from them. a really pretty shirtdress. aggy gave us a pencil case which i'll be using next year. :D we had dinner at marche and i ate like a pig. as usual. but it was so much fun and we really need to have more besties outings!

went vivo with jenny nita evadne and pingni on the 27th! :D omg mini 2h gathering. i miss nita so much she really needs to keep in touch when she returns to america. and i havent really spoken to jenny since sec3! and i realise that i hardly hang out wiht pingni though we are both in rj. tsk tsk. busy lives we lead. but anyway we had icecream at haagen diaz and found a pretty prom dress from celia loe for nita. and ate dinner at sushi tei where the jap food is super yummy. met olinda from singapore idol there too and took pictures with her. but they are in jenny's camera.

went amore at parkmall with jan on the 28th. (:

29th was spent with zhangfan and shiyi to celebrate my birthday. i was late for like an hour plus. which was really a blessing in diguise cause they were still not done with my birthday present by the time i arrived. haha. i heard they were planning to bake a cake but the plan was cancelled cause i couldnt make it in the morn hehe. so check out the beautiful jigsaw they made. (: i love disney princesses except snow white. haha. and i love handmade presents!

then i wanted to go to ikea tampines so we took bus 3 there. ended up missing the stop so we ended up on the express way to hougang. we decided to take a cab back to ikea. and i was mindlessly flagging a cab and a maxi cab stopped for us. :D it was so comfy and spacious. :D perrfect!

ikea was a lot of fun taking pictures and what not. :D:D

ended the day with dinner at vienthai at tampines mall. :D:D

30th was my bigday haha. turning 17 makes me feel awfully old though. =( but thanks for all the wishes everyone! (: you made my day. (: anyway met shiyi in the afternoon and went to donut factory to get donuts. yummy! but if u had to eat 3 of them u feel a bit diabetic after that. hehe. minxuan met us rather late but it was so great to finally see her after so long!! i really need to make an effort to meet up more often. anyway me and shiyi shared a notebook from prints for her and it's really pretty. (:(: her super belated bday present. haha. i'll prob get mine four months later i think. anyway we walked around and talked. then shiyi had to go home and mx and i went to secret recipe. shared the choc fudge cake and oreo milkshake and it turned out to be too filling hehe. met joyce after that to come home together cause daddy's cooking for us!! :D for the first time in everyone's life. everyone being my family members. so the cousins and aunts and uncles started streaming in. fiona nita jenny and evadne came too. :D they got me choc from royce', brownies from the brownie factory and cookies from cookieman! :D:D:D:D:D okay i think im really like a pig or something. but the food is really good. (: and i was really glad they came. everyone just hung around then we had the cake cutting and took a bunch of pictures. and jan and joyce surprised me with a present-a guess? wallet! i thought i'd get a belated present from them cause we never seem to get each other presents on time. hehe. but they actually got me a present!! i was pleasantly surprised. and it seemed like the aunts all knew about it haha. ah well i love surprises. (: anyway the wallet's pretty and i looove my cousins so much! (:(: and i know we'll prob be able to hang out more next year unlike this year cause we're all continuing with amore. (: hehe. and i love my dad for doing this for me (:(: cause u know he never bothers cooking. a refreshing change from the dinners at the restaurants which amounts to a few hundreds. this time it's priceless.
